ReferenceReference

Everything written down.

No newsletter and no thought leadership. The reference material a contractor can use on a Tuesday afternoon, and nothing else.

In short

What reference material does Blackthorne Wicker publish?

There is a construction accounting glossary and a WIP calculator that works. There are four comparisons: against a CPA, a generalist CFO, and an in-house hire. There is a page for each of the six services and the eight trades. All of it is written for a contractor, not for another accountant.

What we do not publish

On purpose

There are no statistics on this site that we cannot point at a job for.

No client counts, no years in business, no percentages pulled off an industry survey. Three contractors let us print their numbers. Those three appear on almost every page. They are the only proof that belongs to us.

If you want the fourth, run your own WIP line and see what it says.
